What this actually is
This is a volunteer company.
Most of us have full-time jobs. We drill together on Tuesday evenings and respond when we're available.

You won't be watching from the outside.
You'll be part of it.
No experience needed
Most people start with none.
Training is extensive and provided at no cost. We'll get you outfitted and put you in a position to help safely.
What you can train for
There's more than one way to serve.
- Structure firefighting
- Vehicle rescue and extrication
- Swiftwater and ice rescue
- Wildland firefighting
- Drone operations
- Driver and apparatus operations
- Fireground, station, and community support
Not every role puts you inside a burning building. We need people on the fireground and people who keep the company moving behind the scenes. We'll help you find where you're useful.
No experience needed. Just show up ready to learn.
What we ask

Staying active usually means around 20% of calls and about half of the monthly meetings.
Why being close matters
When a call comes in, time matters.
If you're within a few minutes of the station, you can actually make the truck. That's what makes the difference.
Two stations. One company.
Station 64 is our Laurel Road substation. Weekly Tuesday drills and first visits happen at our main station, Station 46.
